Here at Brushy Creek, our family’s passion is woven into every aspect of our breeding program. Located in Red Oak, TX, just minutes from Waxahachie and Dallas, we pour our hearts into raising all sizes of Australian Shepherds and Miniature American Shepherds that bring joy, loyalty, and love into the lives of their new families. As an AKC and ASDR breeder, we take pride in our commitment to excellence. 

Each puppy we raise is more than just a pet—they are a cherished member of our extended family. Our puppies are ASDR and/or AKC Registered, and we are dedicated to ensuring they embody the best qualities of their breed. From Champion Australian Shepherds to Toy and Miniature Australian Shepherds, we focus on strong genetics, excellent temperaments, and well-rounded dogs that thrive in any role, whether it's in the show ring, as a working partner, a service dog, or a beloved companion. 

Our dedication to our dogs’ well-being begins long before they’re born. We conduct Full Panel Genetic Health Testing on our breeding dogs to give our puppies the healthiest start in life. By the time they leave our care, each puppy has been vaccinated, dewormed, and thoroughly health-checked by our veterinarian. We provide health guarantees, microchips, and contracts, along with unwavering breeder support, because we believe in being there for you and your puppy every step of the way.

The Miniature Australian Shepherd shares many physical traits with its forebearer, the Australian Shepherd—only on a smaller scale. Females stand between 13 and 17 inches at the shoulder; males range from 14 to 18 inches. Despite their size, these mini Aussies are every inch a true herding dog: energetic, versatile, rugged, and extremely bright. The eye-catching coat comes in black, blue merle, red, and red merle. (The merle will exhibit in any amount marbling, flecks, or blotches.) Minis move with the smooth and agile step of a dog built for hard work on punishing terrain. As a proud breeder of Champion Australian Shepherds, I can attest that these Miniature Australian Shepherds are bright, self-motivated workers and endearingly loyal and lively companion dogs.

Brushy Creek Aussies is an AKC and ASDR breeder that provides happy, healthy, sound, and well-socialized puppies. We take great pride in our breeding program, focusing on improving the breed of Australian Shepherds. Health, great temperaments, beauty, and conformation are essential to us. We have acquired or raised the best dogs available to be the parents of your puppies. Most of our dogs were handpicked and raised from puppies to ensure they embody our ideals for the breed. With some of the top bloodlines in the breed, including MMA, Four Oaks, Howards, Timberline, Tinker Toy, Hughes, Rimfire, Chapman, Porters, Smallville, High Rocking, Big City, Renegades, and more.
