About Us! Welcome to Brushy Creek Aussies! Here at Brushy Creek, our family's passion is woven into every aspect of our breeding program. Located in Red Oak, Texas, just minutes from Waxahachie and Dallas, we pour our hearts into raising all sizes of Australian Shepherds and Miniature American Shepherds that bring joy,loyalty and love into the lives of their new families. Each puppy we raise is more than just a pet-they are a cherished member of our extended family. Our puppies are AKC and/or ASDR registered, and we are committed to ensuring they embody the best qualities of their breed. From Australian Shepherds, MAS, to Toy and Mini Aussies we try to focus on strong genetics, excellent temperaments, and well-rounded dog
The Mini Aussie
The Miniature Australian Shepherd shares many physical traits with its forebearer, the Australian Shepherd—only on a smaller scale. Females stand between 13 and 17 inches at the shoulder; males range from 14 to 18 inches. Despite their size, Minis are every inch a true herding dog: energetic, versatile, rugged, and extremely bright. The eye-catching coat comes in black, blue merle, red, and red merle. (The merle will exhibit in any amount marbling, flecks, or blotches.) Minis move with the smooth and agile step of a dog built for hard work on punishing terrain. Minis are bright, self-motivated workers and endearingly loyal and lively companion dogs.

Health, great temperaments, beauty, and confirmation are a must. We have purchased the best dogs we could find to be the parents of your puppies. Most all of our dogs were hand picked and raised from puppies to ensure they are truly what we desire in the breed. We have some of the top bloodlines in the world like MMA, Four Oaks, Howards, Timberline, Tinker Toy, Hughes, Rimfire, Chapman, High Rocking, Big City, Renegades and more.
